Plan Your Dream Summer in Zadar
What to See, Eat, and Do in Zadar Zadar is a great place to visit, but where should you go, what are the best restaurants. The fifth largest of the Croatian cities, Zadar is a starting point for the beautiful Dalmatian coast, drawing more visitors every year. Overview of Zadar Zadar has been established as an access point to the continental and southern parts of Croatia, located in northern Dalmatia. Its close proximity to no fewer than two national parks, Krka and Paklenica, ensures that nature lovers need not only discover the breathtaking Velebit mountain and Zrmanja river. On the other hand, Zadar is known to be the birthplace of famous Croatian footballers Luka Modrić, Šime Vrsaljko, and Danijel Subašić, who helped finish Croatia's national team in 2nd place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
